A 38-year-old fugitive from Browns Mills has admitted to causing the fatal drug overdose of a 21-year-old woman from Burlington County, authorities said. Terrance D. Walker, 38, of Liberty Street pleaded guilty to Tessa McCullough's drug-Induced death for supplying fentanyl-laced heroin to her in May 2019, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said on Friday afternoon. Eight men were charged with possession and distribution of child pornography during a continuing South Jersey investigation dubbed “Operation Safe Quarantine." A dramatic rise in internet activity was spurred by the COVID-19 quarantine -- increasing chances of child exploitation online, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said. A married South Jersey couple orchestrated an online dating scam that wooed victims out of more than $6 million, federal authorities said. Stafford PD: 2 Drivers Seriously Hurt In Head-On Crash Closing Route 72
Two drivers were airlifted from the scene of a multiple-car collision that closed Route 72 in Stafford on Thursday, authorities said. The rush-hour crash involved a Jeep Cherokee driven by Joseph Sanzari, 67 of Barnegat traveling east on Route 72, Stafford police said in a statement on Facebook. A fast-moving house fire killed a 61-year-old Burlington County man, authorities confirmed. Nine nursing homes long riddled with problems were named to a list of hundreds in the U.S. that medical officials are keeping close eyes on.
