A nearly 10-month investigation into the alleged distribution of cocaine resulted in the arrest of a 43-year-old man, according to New York State Police.
Johnny Jones, 43, of New Paltz was arrested after a search warrant was carried out at his residence on Friday, May 3, New York State Police say.
The search resulted in the discovery and seizure of the following, according to police:
Approximately 850 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine
A .40 caliber handgun police say was stolen
Numerous rounds of ammunition
Scales
Drug packaging
A quantity of marijuana
Approximately $10,000 cash

Lincoln Park PD: Brooklyn Trio Stole $3,500 In Merchandise From CVS
Three Brooklyn men were being held at the Morris County Correction Facility after taking more than $3,500 in merchandise from a local CVS, said authorities who charged them.
A 9-1-1 caller told police that a trio ran away from the CVS on Boonton Turnpike around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Lincoln Park Police Detective Kevin Fitzpatrick said.
Tevin Green, 25, Danzell Stephenson, 25, and Stephon Smith, 21, were located by police and charged with shoplifting and conspiracy to commit the same. Stephenson was also charged with possession of marijuana, Fitzpatrick said.

A New York man was arrested after he allegedly choked and threatened to shoot another man he had spent the night with at a Norwalk hotel.
Norwalk Police learned of the incident when a man called 911around noon on Wednesday, March 27, from the Red Carpet Inn at 469 Westport Ave., saying that another man had choked him, left, and may have a gun and that he was coming back to the room, said Norwalk Police Sgt. Sofia Guilno.
