IDs Released For 20-Year-Old Killed, Teen Brothers Injured In Fiery Long Island Crash
A 20-year-old area man who was killed and two teenage brothers who were critically injured in a single-vehicle crash have been identified by police.
William Smith, 20, of Mastic, was killed around 8:45 a.m., Friday, Sept. 13, while driving a 1996 Lexus eastbound on Pine Road when he lost control of the vehicle, which struck a tree and caught fire in front of 24 Pine Road, said the Suffolk County Police.

13-Year-Old Long Island Girl Seriously Injured In Crash
A 13-year-old was seriously injured after she was hit by a motor vehicle while riding her bicycle on Long Island.
The crash occurred just after 6:35 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19 in Mastic.
The girl, Paiton Muens, of Mastic, was struck by a 2016 Toyota RAV4, being operated by Hugo Sinay-Boch, 30, while riding her bicycle northbound on Mastic Road, between Hampton Avenue and Main Avenue, Suffolk County Police said.
Muens was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Sinay-Boch, also of Mastic, was not injured.

Four store employees are facing charges following State Liquor Authority inspections in Mastic, Center Moriches and Shirley Friday night, June 21, Suffolk County Police said.
The four were all issued field appearance tickets on the following charges:
