A 39-year-old Mays Landing man pleaded guilty to repeatedly sexually assaulting a girl and filming it, authorities said.
Christian R. Navarette of Mays Landing entered the pleas to aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child on Thursday, Aug. 19, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Atlantic County: Njsp
Authorities have identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed in Atlantic County.
Robert McClernan, 60, of Mays Landing, was hit by a Fiat 500L traveling east on Route 322/Black Horse Pike in Folsom, New Jersey State Police said.
The crash occurred at about 10:15 p.m. Monday, July 4. The car hit McClernan as he entered the roadway, police said. He died of his injuries.
The driver, who was not hurt, stopped and remained at the scene, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.

A 26-year-old man from South Jersey has admitted to sexually-explicit conversations with a 14-year-old girl who turned out to be an undercover detective, authorities said.
Richard Hoffman, of Mays Landing, pleaded guilty to luring on Monday, Feb. 14, before in connection with a series of events that occurred in Toms River between Sept. 4, 2018 and Sept. 5, 2018, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
