Fairfax County police have identified the remains that found in McLean in 2001 as a woman who went missing years prior, they said. The skeletal remains were found by construction workers on Sept. 27, 2001 in the 5100 block of Lincoln Circle, and authorities now know they belong to Patricia Gildawie, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. Gildawie, a native of France who moved to Fairfax as an infant, went missing on February 8, 1975, when she was only 17, police said.
