A 34-year-old fugitive from Trenton has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in connection with a shooting that left an innocent bystander dead, authorities said. Rasheed Funderburg had been fighting with a younger male on the 330 block of Rutherford Avenue on Friday, April 14, when the younger male fled, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. Funderburg fired shots into an alleyway where the younger male had ran, but instead struck Daniel Garvin, 46, in the chest, Onofri said. Fourth Arrest Made In Easter Sunday Murder In Trenton
A fourth suspect has been arrested in an Easter Sunday murder in Trenton, authorities said. Bayshawn Brown, 22, of Ewing, was taken into custody on Thursday, April 20, in Florence Township, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. Trenton Man, 46, Shot Dead: Prosecutor
A 46-year-old man from Trenton was shot and killed over the weekend, authorities said. Daniel Garvin was fatally wounded in the shooting at 8:21 p.m. on Friday, April 14, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office. Trenton Police received a ShotSpotter activation for six rounds in the area of 328 Rutherford Avenue. A 19-year-old man was killed and a 28-year-old man remains hospitalized in a shooting that happened outside of a Trenton bar on Friday, March 24, officials said.
