Lamont introduced his latest plan for statewide tolls, including one in a remote stretch of I-684 in Greenwich that will force motorists to pay, despite being in the state for only about one mile. Coyote Attacks Dog In New Canaan, Police Say A small dog managed to survive after being attacked by a coyote in New Canaan. It happened on Sunday, Sept. 22 at approximately 5 p.m. on Shady Knoll Lane, New Canaan Police said. The dog owner was able to frighten the coyote and it dropped the dog. The dog suffered two punctures on the neck and ear, according to police. It's the third reported incident in the southwestern section of New Canaan over the past month.
