Police say that a 16-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot in the head on Wednesday night. Officers from the Baltimore City Police Department were called shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, to the 2600 block of Carver Road, where there were reports of shots fired involving a teenager. Baltimore detectives are investigating a murder after a woman was found slashed overnight. The unidentified woman was found with lacerations to her chest in the 500 block of East Jeffery Street shortly before 3 a.m., Tuesday, April 18. Medics rushed the woman to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Emergency crews were called to the 2000 block of North Charles Street around 11:45 a.m., Monday, April 17 after reports of a possible shooting were called in, according to Baltimore police.
