David Christian Spencer Jr, 41, was the sole fatality of the shooting that occurred in the 1500 block fo V Street, Southeast just before 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, Metropolitan Police said.  The other two victims with non-life-threatening injuries were taken to local hospitals for treatment as well, police added. Juvenile, Adult Arrested For Shooting At Police Officer In Anne Arundel County: Police A juvenile and adult suspect have been arrested in connection with a police-involved shooting in Anne Arundel County, authorities said.  The teenager, along with 18-year-old Brian Bautista, were approached by a Special Police Officer at an MPD-owned impound lot in Anne Arundel County on Tuesday, May 17, Metropolitan Police said. The SPO questioned the suspects, who then fired shots at the officer, according to MPD. The officer then returned fire. No injuries were reported, MPD said. Bautista and the juvenile were charged accordingly. The investigation is ongoing.

DC Man Found Stabbed To Death Inside Northwest Apartment Building: Police Washington DC Metropolitan Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information regarding a recent homicide.  Daniel McKinney, 59, was found suffering from an apparent stab wound in the hallway of a residential building in the 3000 block of Rodman Street NW around 2:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, Metropolitan Police said.  McKinney was taken to a local hospital where he later died, police said.
