Millville Woman, 65, Dies When SUV Strikes Guardrail, Crashing Into Woods: Troopers
A Millville woman was killed when her SUV crashed into the woods in Maurice River Township, authorities said. Alice Ferraro, 65, died in the crash on Friday, Sept. 20, a state police spokesperson. Troopers responded to Route 347 North near milepost 7.5 at around 11:41 a.m. Investigators said Ferraro was driving a Honda CR-V when the SUV went off the left side of the road. The Honda crashed through a guardrail and went into nearby woods. Ferraro was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remained under investigation, troopers said.

Pittsgrove Township Man Drove Drunk In Crash That Killed Millville Pedestrian, Police Say
A Pittsgrove Township man was accused of driving while drunk and killing a Millville man crossing a street, authorities said. Robert Johnson of Norma was charged with death by auto and driving while intoxicated, the Millville Police Department said in a news release. Johnson, 61, was arrested in the crash that killed 44-year-old Shane McManamy on Wednesday, Sept. 4. A Millville teen was killed when his motorcycle crashed into an SUV in Vineland, authorities said. Thomas Gauntt IV, 16, died in the crash on Monday, Aug. 19, the Vineland Police Department said in a news release. Three people in their 20s were killed in a South Jersey crash early Saturday, Aug. 17, police said. A 2006 BMW operated by Ian P. A Millville teen was killed when he crashed his car after leaving the scene of a traffic stop, authorities said. Thomas Burch, 19, died from his injuries in the crash on Monday, July 15, a state police spokesperson said.
