Police Car Crashes In Cumberland County A patrol car crashed in Millville, authorities said. The police car had its lights and siren on when it collided with another car, Millville Police Chief Ross Hoffman said. Both drivers suffered minor injuries in the Monday, April 24 crash, Hoffman said. The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Second and Main streets, he said. Both drivers were taken to Inspira Medical Center Vineland.  The crash remains under investigation and no tickets had been issued as of Thursday, April 27, the chief said.

Decesare Filippo, 72, of Millville, was on West Main Street at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 when he used a crosswalk at Riverside Drive, Millville police said. A 20-year-old Millville man driving a Chevy Silverado turned left off West Main onto Riverside Drive, striking Filippo, police said.
