Upstate NY Woman Who Drove Onto Teterboro Airport Runways Charged
A 31-year-old upstate New York woman who drove her car across two runways at Teterboro Airport on Tuesday was hospitalized for a psychological evaluation, authorities said Thursday. Ciara Schultz, of Ballston Spa, NY was sent to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus after being processed by Port Authority police on trespassing, obstruction and improper behavior charges, they said. A 50-year-old Bergen County man was fatally struck attempting to flee the scene of an accident by running across Manhattan's FDR Drive early Saturday morning, authorities said. Moonachie PD: Trio With Drugs All Provided Fake Names
A driver who ran a red light right in front of a Moonachie police officer provided a bogus name – as did two women who were with him – and was found carrying drugs and a crack pipe, authorities said. Officer Daniel Leoncini was on patrol Wednesday afternoon when the driver of the silver Infiniti – identified as Stephon C. A pair of friends who met working in a restaurant have opened one one their own in Moonachie. With Ismael Dominguez in the front of the house and Saul Duran in the kitchen, the pair together run Two Pitas, a Mediterranean restaurant that opened recently on Joseph Street. Footprints In Snow Lead Little Ferry Police To Suspect Hiding In Shed
LITTLE FERRY, N.J. -- A driver who sped off during a Little Ferry traffic stop crashed his car, ran off, then was found hiding by officers who followed his footprints in the snow, authorities said. Police also recovered a backpack that a witness saw 32-year-old Najee Ray of Lodi toss as he ran, Detective Sgt. Ronald M. Klein Jr. said. Inside was marijuana and packaging bags, he said.
