Thousands of homes and businesses lost power across New Jersey on Thursday, July 3, as storms moved through the state, according to outage data from JCP&L and PSE&G. A young tow truck operator was killed while helping a stranded driver on Interstate 287 in Morris County, New Jersey State Police said. A cyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a Subaru on Route 10 in Roxbury late Monday, June 16, authorities said.
