: NY State Police Locate Morris County Teen Unharmed
A 17-year-old boy from Morris County who went missing last week was located in Westchester County, NY. Santino Crosson, who lives with his parents in Randolph, was located unharmed by New York State Police in Tarrytown, NY, Saturday, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said. Santino had last been seen Thursday morning in Morris Plains and later that day at the Whole Foods Market in Union Square, New York City.

A Morris Plains police officer charged with stealing more than $86,000 from his department's PBA while serving as its treasurer was sentenced to five years probation and monthly restitution payments, authorities said Friday. A man and woman from Essex County are facing numerous charges after they were caught shoplifting and were later found with drug paraphernalia, authorities said. Hanover Police responded to a shoplifting incident at Wegmans on Sylvan Way on Feb. 18, Hanover police said. A 64-year-old resident was killed in a fire in a Parsippany garden apartment Sunday afternoon, responders said. His name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin. A firefighter refused medical attention for a cut sustained battling the first-floor Rutgers Lane blaze, which broke out in the Rutgers Village Apartment Complex just after 12:30 p.m. and severely damaged two units, they said. A Morris Plains man headed to Florida was arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport Monday when a loaded gun was found in his carry-on luggage, the Transportation Security Administration said in a statement.
