18 'H-Block' Gang Members Busted, $228K In Drugs Seized In Mercer County
An investigation involving more than a dozen law enforcement agencies in South Jersey and Pennsylvania has resulted in the arrest of 18 gang members and seizure of large quantities of heroin, methamphetamines and marijuana, authorities said.
Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said on Thursday that the multi-jurisdictional investigation of narcotics distribution and violent crime resulted in recovering 11 guns, 1,000 grams of heroin, 1,000 grams of methamphetamine, 15 pounds of marijuana, six vehicles and more than $22,000 in cash.

A fleeing drug dealer hit a DEA agent with his car and tossed a bag filled with 7,500 heroin folds out the window during what became a high-speed chase from Pennsylvania to Mercer County, authorities said.
Law enforcement officers from various agencies followed ex-con Daevon Bell, 26, of Hamilton Township from Trenton to an apartment complex in Morrisville, PA, on Tuesday, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
Bell retrieved a bag from his trunk and went into one of the apartments there, then emerged carrying another bag, Carpenito said.

A Mercer County fugitive and a Pennsylvania woman have been arrested in connection with this week's fatal shooting of two young brothers in Trenton, authorities said.
With the help of U.S. Marshals, Dajuan "Bando" Kelley, 26, of Ewing Township was arrested on Friday in Hampton, Georgia, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J.. Onofri.
Kelley's alleged accomplice, Destanie Ellis, 29, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, was arrested on Thursday in Trenton, the prosecutor said.

Authorities ID Motorcyclists Killed, Injured In Middlesex County NJ Turnpike Crash
Two motorcycle drivers were killed in a three-bike crash on the NJ Turnpike Sunday in Middlesex County, authorities said.
Three riders were ejected from their bikes after a crash in the outer southbound lane near mile marker 84.2 in New Brunswick just after 1:20 p.m., New Jersey Police Lt. Ted Schafer said.
Brayan Portillo-Padilla, 22 of Sayerville, and Marcus Wood, 30 of Willingboro died. A third driver, a 29-year-old of Morrisville, PA, survived, Schafer said.
The crash investigation was ongoing as of Monday morning.
