Man Killed After Stolen-Vehicle Chase Ends In Crash In Northern Westchester, Police Say
A 38-year-old man allegedly driving a stolen motorcycle was killed following a chase that ended in a two-vehicle crash in Northern Westchester. The chase ended around 4:15 p.m., Sunday, April 3, after New York State Police attempted to make a traffic stop of a stolen 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle at the Annsville Circle in the town of Cortlandt, said Trooper AJ Hicks. A man was killed after he was thrown from a motorcycle when it crashed into a tree on Long Island, police said. It happened at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 28. Southampton Town Police received an emergency call about a single-motorcycle accident on Deerfield Road. A motorcyclist who wiped out overnight Sunday near the Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, authorities said. Bogota Motorcyclist Rear-Ended At Hackensack Stop Light
A Bogota motorcyclist who was thrown when a car rear-ended him at a Hackensack stoplight was released from the hospital after being treated, police said. The 27-year-old motorcyclist was stopped on River Street at the corner of Passaic Street when a 2004 Taurus hit his 2017 Kawasaki from behind, throwing him to the sidewalk, just after 1 a.m. Thursday, Capt. Frank Aquila said. He was treated for leg pain at Hackensack University Medical Center, Aquila said. The 38-year-old sedan driver from Hackensack wasn't injured. Man Killed In Overnight Crash On I-287 In Westchester
A man was killed overnight after a motorcycle crash in Westchester. The motorcyclist was transported to Westchester Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased after the crash on westbound I-287 in White Plains, which occurred around 12:20 a.m. Monday, state police said.
