3 Homes Damaged, 3 Firefighters Hurt In Burlington County Blaze Three homes were damaged and three firefighters hurt in a four-alarm fire in Burlington County, according to news reports. The fire broke out in a home on the 100 block of Cherry Street in Mount Holly at about 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13. The firefighters are expected to be OK, 6ABC News reported, citing Westampton Fire Craig Farnsworth. It took firefighters about 3 1/2 hours to bring the fire under control.

Tornado Warning Issued For Ocean, Burlington Counties A tornado watch was issued at about 12:50 p.m. for parts of Ocean and Burlington counties. The National Weather Service in Mount Holly also issued a severe thunderstorm warning for a wider area of South Jersey. The thunderstorm warning is in effect until 6 p.m. Friday June 16.
