Lifelong Bedford Resident, Former 'Miss Mount Kisco' Dies A woman who was a longtime resident of Northern Westchester County and was once crowned "Miss Mount Kisco" died on Saturday, Oct. 8.  Carole Ann Genussa of Bedford died at the age of 88, according to her obituary.   Born in Mount Kisco, Genussa worked with troubled youth at the Pleasantville Cottage School for thirty years, and also volunteered at the St. Patrick's Parish for six decades, her obituary said.  Genussa lived in Bedford since building her home with her husband, Philip, in 1958, and she had a love for hosting her family and friends for dinner …

Mt. Kisco Movie Theater To Reopen A theater in Northern Westchester that has been closed since the COVID-19 pandemic began will reopen soon. AB Cinemas, also known as the Mt. Alert Issued For Missing Mount Kisco Woman Police are asking for help in the search for a missing woman from Northern Westchester.  Alexandra Pierrot, age 49, was last seen on Monday, July 11, leaving a group home in Mount Kisco on Grove Street, police said in an announcement on Wednesday, Oct. 19. "Ms. Pierrot is a missing vulnerable adult," Westchester County Police said in a tweet.  Anyone with information is asked to call 914-864-7700. Octavia Johnson, age 37, of Mount Kisco, was arrested at the Staples on Noth Bedford Road on Tuesday, Aug. 9, and charged with grand larceny. According to the Westchester County Police, Johnson was caught after loss prevention staff provided documentation alleging she stole more than $2,500 through fraudulent refund transactions.
