The CTDOT announced that on beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, there will be a closure of Route 37 South slightly north - an estimated 150 to 200 feet - of the turn for Big Trail, near the Sherman-New Fairfield line for roadwork. The boy, Blake Taylor, was reported missing around 1 p.m. Wednesday in New Fairfield near 34 Candlewood Road, Connecticut State Police said. Just after 2 p.m., state police said they had located the boy and he was safe but did not offer additional details. State police K9 teams, New Fairfield police, and the Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection had flooded the area to search for the child.  The boy was believed to be naked when he disappeared.
