5 Officers Arrested In Case Of Suspect Paralyzed In Police Van In Connecticut Five police officers have been arrested in connection with the case of a suspect who was paralyzed while riding in a police transport van, according to Connecticut State Police.  The five New Haven Police officers were arrested on Monday, Nov. 28 after turning themselves in to Connecticut State Police in connection with the Sunday, June 19, incident.  The five were charged with reckless endangerment and cruelty to persons and released on a $25,000 bond. The woman was found around noon on Wednesday, March 16 in New Haven on the side of Springside Avenue.
