Jamie Randall, a 46-year-old South Jersey resident, mother, and corrections officer, died on Sunday, July 13, according to her obituary from the Boucher Funeral Home website. She was 46 years old.
A corrections officer for the New Jersey State Prison, Randall enjoyed running, fishing, crabbing and going to the beach, her obituary reads. She was a movie fanatic who loved sphynx cats, according to her obituary.

After more than 30 years, a 55-year-old Mullica Township man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, July 2 for a 1991 murder and sexual assault of a 23-year-old woman, authorities said.
Eddie Sykes is charged with murder, felony murder and aggravated murder in the death of Evelyn Caez, a Mullica Township woman, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
On Oct. 12, 1991 at 7:30 a.m., Mullica Township police responded to 1 W Lakeview Dr. and found Caez dead in her kitchen from stab wounds, authorities said.

A 35-year-old Cliffwood man was convicted of first degree murder last month for fatally stabbing a Newark man with a machete, authorities announced Friday, April 11.
Terrance Bailey was found guilty for murdering Daniel Haas, Jr. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II said.
Bailey and an accomplice pursued Haas while brandishing a firearm near 207 Cathedral Ct. in Newark, Stephens said. Bailey and the accomplice, who has not been identified, killed Haas with a machete, Stephens said.
Bailey faces 30 years to life in New Jersey State Prison, Stephens said.
