Covid-19: Noted Sports Photographer Anthony Causi, Pace University Grad, Dies At 48
Anthony Causi, a prominent and popular sports photographer, died from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Causi, a Pace University graduate who worked for the New York Post, died on Sunday, April 12 at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, the paper announced. He was 48.
A Brooklyn native, Causi joined The Post in 1994, working his way up from a photo messenger to a full-time photojournalist. During his career, he covered the Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Rangers and more for The Post.
Causi was remembered by Yankee legend Derek Jeter on social media.

Hackensack native William V. “Billy” Ferrante Jr., died on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019. He was 63 years old.
Born to William V. Ferrante and Marian Gerfoil Ferrante on May 11, 1956, Billy had been living in Loxley, AL. He is predeceased by his parents and his sister, Linda Ferrante.
Billy could often be found at the beach, where he spent most of his time relaxing.
This was certainly his happy place. He was also known for expert grilling abilities -- most everything he cooked was grilled to perfection. And being from the Northeast, you could hear him rooting for the New York Giants.

Anthony DeGraw, 33, Lodi Native Leaves Behind Wife And Daughter
Anthony DeGraw of Beachwood died Thursday. He was 33 years old.
Born in Wayne, he grew up in Lodi and graduated from Lodi High School in 2005. He met his future wife, Krystal Anderson, in middle school in Lodi. The couple moved to Beachwood in 2017.
He worked as a granite installer, most recently for Progress Dimensions in South Toms River. A devoted New York Giants fan, he was also a hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed motorcycle and quad riding.
