Train Derailed, 30 Cars Overturned In York County
Over 30 train cars-- including one carrying oil-- were overturned in a train derailment on Monday afternoon in York County, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. Crews were called to the scene of the train derailment at 3:10 p.m. Hazmat crews were initially called to the scene to assess a crude oil train car but no leaks were found, according to police. Campers were in the area at the time of the derailment but we're not asked to evacuate and no one was in danger, according to both dispatch and police. A mandatory water conservation order was issued by Pennsylvania American Water, effecting nearly 41,500 of its Mechanicsburg customers. The order asks customers to limit water use to essential purposes while PAW restores the flow to its system, a press release says. York County Woman, 53, Dies Of Injuries Following Train Crash
A woman has died in a local hospital from injuries following a train crash, according to the York County coroner. Gerri Hill, 53 of Newberry Township, was seriously injured while sitting in her car with it parked on the train tracks in 1200 block of Cly Road in York around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, says the coroner. Hill was treated at the scene and transported to Well Span York Hospital. After lifesaving measures, she died 18 and a half hours later. The cause and manner of death has not been made public. An autopsy may not be scheduled pending investigation, according to the coroner.

Newbury PD: 80 Painted Nails Were Placed In Municipal Lot To Damage Police Vehicle Tires
More than 80 nails were found in the parking lot of the Newberry Township Municipal Complex on Monday, according to police. Police believe the nails were intentionally placed to target the police department and for the purpose of damaging tires.
