Motorist, 54, Killed On NJ Turnpike In Central Jersey
A 54-year-old motorist from Monmouth County was killed when his car rear-ended a tractor-trailer, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 7:07 p.m. Thursday, off the New Jersey Turnpike in Woodbridge Township, according to State Police.
A preliminary investigation revealed the tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder of the outer ramp when a Honda Civic collided with its rear.

Camden Driver Dies In Fiery Salem County Crash
A Camden native died in a fiery crash in Salem County Tuesday, authorities said.
Marcus Gibson, 62, was in a Buick Lacrosse traveling west on County Road 602 in Pilesgrove Township around 1:30 p.m. when he crossed the center line and drove off the road to the left, NJ State Police said.
The sedan re-entered the roadway between Country Lane and Sharptown-Auburn Road, crossed all lanes, veered off to the right, overturned, and collided with a mailbox and utility pole, authorities said.

A young boy was killed and six others from South Jersey were hurt in a rollover crash late Wednesday, authorities said.
A Toyota Sienna went off of Route 55 in Vineland, then overturned into the lanes of travel, according to State Police. The Toyota minivan was then struck by a Chevrolet Cruze, according to Sgt. Alejandro Goez, a NJSP spokesman.
The driver of the Toyota, Elvira Lopez-Mendoza, 35, of Camden, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Cooper University Hospital, Goez said.

A seriously-injured Rockland County driver was flown out by medical chopper and his 2-year-old daughter was also hospitalized following a freak accident Thursday morning, May 6 on Route 287, said NJ State Police, who were seeking witnesses.
A wheel became dislodged from a northbound vehicle, bounded over the median, and crashed into a southbound Ford Fusion in the area of Exit 58 just south of Skyline Drive in Oakland shortly before 8:30 a.m., Trooper Charles Marchan said.
