: Motorcyclist, 28, Killed In Ridgefield Park NJ Turnpike Crash
A 28-year-old motorcyclist from New York City was killed in an early-morning crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Ridgefield Park Saturday, authorities said. Jesus Patino-Tapia's Yamaha bike went off the northbound side of the highway near milepost 116.7 around 3:45 a.m., NJ State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez said. The bike struck a guardrail ejecting Patino-Tapia, who was pronounced dead at the scene, Goez said. No other vehicles were involved.

Dashcam: Speeding Wrong-Way Driver Narrowly Misses Tow-Trucker On Route 280 In Morris County
Anthony Archibald says he was inches away from death when a wrong-way driver zoomed past him in the fast lane of Route 280 in Parsippany. His dashcam captured it all. Christopher Faschan, a 31-year-old ex-con from Landing, remained in custody Thursday pending an appearance Friday in U.S. District Court in Newark. North Jersey Man, 21, Fatally Struck By Car-Carrier On NJ Turnpike
A 21-year-old Paterson man was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer early Monday morning when he got out of his car in a crossover lane on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. Tyrell Henry was stopped in a crossover section for I-95 and Route 80 on the southbound lane of the turnpike in Ridgefield Park when he walked into a travel lane and was struck by a car carrier, operated by a 63-year-old man from Patchogue, N.Y., NJ State Police said. The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. and is under investigation, police said.
