UPDATE: One driver was killed and another was seriously hurt following a Tuesday morning wrong-way crash on Route 80, state police confirmed.
Francis Merrick, 75, was driving a Jeep Compass east in the westbound lane when the vehicle crashed head-on into a Hyundai Elantra driven by Robert Nardone, 80, near milepost 28.3 in Roxbury Township just after 7:30 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told DailyVoice.com.
Nardone, of Hackettstown, was killed in the crash, while Merrick, of Tafton, PA, was seriously hurt, Curry said.

A Honda SUV was traveling in the eastbound lanes when it struck Richard Dennelly, 73, and Maria Schellberg, 55, of Great Neck, NY, near milepost 1.8 in Knowlton Township just after 3 a.m., NJSP Sgts. Philip Curry and Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice.
Both victims were killed in the crash, Curry said.

Pickup Truck Driver, 26, Airlifted In Fiery Hunterdon County Crash
A pickup truck driver was airlifted with serious injuries Sunday following a fiery crash in Hunterdon County, state police said.
David Burton, 26, was behind the wheel of a Chevy Colorado when it ran off the right side of the road, hit a sign and several trees on Route 579 southbound near milepost 30.1 in Alexandria Township just after 8 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice.
The truck then caught fire, causing Burton serious injuries, Curry said.
