At Least 15 Goats Run 'At Large' In North Castle: Police
Police were faced with an unusual call when several goats were found roaming free in a Northern Westchester town. On Monday, Oct. 31, around 9 a.m., North Castle Police responded to a residence in North Castle at 7 Mianus Drive after receiving a report that 15 to 20 goats were "running at large" around the property, police said. An officer responded to the scene, and found the goats there, with tags on their ears, according to police. Eventually, police were able to corral the goats back to their home at 1 Mianus Dr. and 2 Middle Patent Rd., authorities said.

A gas station clerk in Northern Westchester was alarmed when a customer drove away with the fuel nozzle still in their car. North White Plains Stop & Shop Customer Receives Counterfeit Bills From Checkout Machine: PD
A customer using a self-checkout machine at a Westchester County grocery store received counterfeit bills as change, police say. On Monday, Oct. 24 at around 4 p.m., North Castle Police received a call from a person who reported receiving two $10 bills from a Stop & Shop in North White Plains at 670 North Broadway, according to police. The customer then completed a witness deposition, police said. It is not known where the counterfeit bills came from.

A worker at a high school in Northern Westchester has been arrested for making a threat to a co-worker, police said. Early in the morning on Friday, the Byram Hills Central School District notified North Castle Police of a complainant involving the employee, prompting an investigation of the alleged threat.
