Missing Endangered Alert Issued For Montgomery County Woman
A missing Cheltenham woman may be in danger, according to an alert from the Cheltenham Township Police Department on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Madelyn Edwards, 81, was last seen in the area of Old Farm Road, Cheltenham Township at 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, police said. She's described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.
Edwards was last seen driving a gray 2017 Hyundai Accent with Pennsylvania license plate MLJ-4374, according to police.

Man Solicited Child For 'Explicit Photos', Northampton Police Say
A Milford man was recently charged for soliciting explicit photographs of a child, police announced on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Rashaad K. Taylor, 28, of Milford, was arrested in Pike County, on Sept. 20, according to the police.
The arrest comes following an investigation into alleged unlawful contact with minors, the Slate Belt Regional Police Department said. During the investigation, Taylor's home in Milford was searched and explicit photographs of a minor were found. A former firefighter in multiple counties in Pennsylvania and a Vietnam veteran died on Wednesday, Sept. 11, his former station announced.
Blaine W. Horn, 75, of Slatedale, passed away at his home, according to his obituary posted on Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc.'s website.
He was known in his community as the former Fire Chief of Citizen’s Fire Company #1 for over 40 years and the current Fire Marshal of Slatedale, but his service to his community dates back much further.

A 29-year-old motorcyclist from Monroe County was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer in Northampton County, authorities said.
Robert Swain, of Coolbaugh Township, was pronounced dead on Wednesday, Sept. 4, shortly after 7 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio. The cause of death is multiple traumatic injuries, Buglio said.
Swain was the motorcycle operator that collided with a tractor-trailer at about 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3 on Route 22 westbound in Bethlehem, Buglio said.

Damian Latrell Bass was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 5, according to Nazareth Borough police. He also was charged with assault, endangering another person and making terroristic threats, court records show.
