24-Year-Old From Western Mass Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash One man from Berkshire County was killed and two others hospitalized in Western Massachusetts following a late-night single-vehicle crash, State Police announced. State Police troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash in the Sumner Tunnel on the ramp to Storrow Drive Boston at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21. Upon arrival, troopers reported that they found three occupants of the vehicle inside, each with serious injuries. In Hampshire County, firefighters were called to the intersection of King Street and North Street in Northampton shortly before 8:15 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18, when a pole caught fire and caused power outages downtown. Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Western Mass A pedestrian by a vehicle in Western Massachusetts suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The Franklin County crash, which killed a 45-year-old Shelburne Falls resident, took place around 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, along Route 2 in Shelburne, said Laurie Loisel, with the Northwestern District Attorney's Office.
