A missing paddleboarder found dead in Martha's Vineyard has been identified as the longtime chef to the Obamas from Northern Virginia.
The body of Tafari Campbell, 45, of Dumfries, VA, was found approximately 100 feet from shore around 8 feet deep on Monday, July 24, after he went missing paddleboarding, Massachusetts State Police said.
Campbell, whose body was found near the Obamas' estate, was visiting the area at the time of his death, MSP said, and had been employed by former President Obama, police said. The Obamas were not at home at the time of the incident.

A half-naked man who followed and grabbed a woman in Northern Virginia is being sought on charges of sexual battery and felony indecent exposure.
The man, later identified as 36-year-old Jamie Kentrel Harris, pulled up in a vehicle behind his 23-year-old victim in a parking lot on the 6200 block of Token Forest Drive in Manassas, around 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 13, Prince William County police said.

Search Launched For Abductor Of Woman, Baby In Northern VA: Police
A search is on for a 30-year-old man wanted for assaulting a woman and then forcing her inside a car, along with a child, that he soon-after crashed, police in Northern Virginia said.
Deyvon M. Newman, of Manassas, first struck the woman, whom he knew, sometime Sunday evening, July 9, in Aldie, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
When the woman attempted to flee their parked vehicle, Newman forced her back inside and drove off, police said. The vehicle crashed a short time later and the female and a child were able to flee and contact a passerby.
