The incident took place on around 3:56 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25 when Rolen Altamirano, 50 and Beatriz Altamirano, 42, both of Weston, became involved in a dispute with Leslie Philibert, 45, of Danbury, said Wilton Police Capt. Robert Cipolla. New Canaan Police Officers Honored For Saving Person Who Was Not Breathing Two New Canaan officers are being recognized for recently saving a person who was having difficulty breathing and had lost consciousness. According to New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski, Sgt. Aaron LaTourette and Officer Matthew Blank arrived at the scene within two minutes of receiving the call.  Once on the scene, the two quickly determined that the patient was not breathing and had no pulse.  The officers deployed an automatic external defibrillator, which administered a shock.
