Luke John Oberle, 72, died on Nov. Thursday, 11 in Goldsboro, NC.
Luke was born on August 14, 1949 in Edgewater, NJ, and raised in Franklin Square, Long Island and Croton-on-Hudson, NY. At Hendrick Hudson High School, Luke performed in several musicals and plays including “Oklahoma” and “Anastasia” and was cast as Buffalo Bill in “Annie Get Your Gun.” His passion for theater continued at Harpur College, Binghamton University where he majored in Cinema Arts. Henri: Eversource Crews Responding As Tropical Storm Comes Ashore With Heavy Rains
Thousands of line and tree crews from as far away as Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Canada are working to restore power to Eversource customers following intense rain and high winds from Tropical Storm Henri.
Workers are in the process of clearing blocked roads, assessing damage, and restoring power.
As of 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, crews have restored power to more than 32,000 customers since the storm began.
Approximately 27,000 Eversource customers in Connecticut are without power as a result of the storm, the majority in the eastern part of the state.
