Barbershop Shooting: Boy, 16, Arrested On Attempted Murder In Middletown Incident, Cops Say
Police have arrested a 16-year-old in connection with a brazen shooting that left another teen wounded inside an Orange County barbershop.
The arrest was made on Friday, Sept. 5, two days after the shooting at 6 West Barbershop on West Main Street in Middletown, the Middletown Police Department announced on Monday, Sept. 8.

Man Killed When Tree Falls On Him In Wallkill: Police Investigating
A 45-year-old man died after being struck by a tree he was cutting in Orange County, authorities said.
The incident happened in the town of Wallkill on Thursday, Sept. 4, at around 1:30 p.m. in a wooded area near 38 Derby Rd., the Town of Wallkill Police Department announced on Saturday, Sept. 6.
When officers arrived, they found the victim, a Sullivan County resident from Livingston Manor, unconscious and unresponsive on the ground. A preliminary investigation revealed he had been cutting a tree when it fell, striking him in the chest and shoulder, according to police.
