A woman was injured after a man lost control of his 2011 Jeep Cherokee and drove over a curb, hitting the woman, and then struck the front wall of a grocery store in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place around 2:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 1 in Rockland County at the ShopRite in Pearl River. Smoky Roof Fire Doused At Bergen County Nursing Home
Firefighters doused a smoky blaze at a Bergen County nursing home Friday afternoon. The building was evacuated and there didn't initially appear to be any serious injuries after the fire broke out between the roof and second floor at the Russ Berrie Home for Jewish Living around 1:30 p.m., responders said. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect who was caught on camera multiple times breaking into vehicles in the Hudson Valley.
