The number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Westchester continues to stabilize.
As of Monday, April 27, according to the New York State Department of Health, there have been 291,996 confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide, including 28,007 in Westchester. There have been 1,077 deaths tied to COVID-19 since the outbreak began 58 days ago.

The number of active novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Westchester has dipped below 9,000 for the first time in weeks.
During his daily virtual COVID-19 briefing, Westchester County Executive George Latimer announced on Thursday, April 23, that there have been 25,959 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 8,955 still active.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) death toll in Westchester jumped by 168 over the weekend, as it reached 557 dead since the outbreak began.
Countywide, as of Monday, April 13, there are now 19,786 confirmed COVID-19 cases. Of those cases, approximately 1,194 remain hospitalized, though there has been an uptick in the number of discharged patients in recent days.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said that there have been 195,031 confirmed cases of the virus statewide, which resulted in 10,056 deaths since the first New Yorker was diagnosed with COVID-19 43 days ago.

The number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases on Westchester is still on the rise, but the rate of hospitalizations is holding steady at approximately 10 percent, County Executive George Latimer said.
Countywide, as of Thursday, April 9, there are now 17,004 (1,117 new) confirmed COVID-19 cases, which have resulted in 359 deaths since the start of the outbreak, 44 higher than the previous day. The number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Westchester County has climbed to 15,8867 and the death toll has hit 315.
With its 1,083 new COVID-19 cases, Westchester now has the third-highest countywide total in the state, behind New York City (81,803 cases), Nassau (18,548), and ahead of Suffolk (15,844 and Rockland (6,413).
