Maryland Man Walking On Roadside Dies Days After Being Struck By Car: Police A 39-year-old man walking on the side of the road died two days after being struck by a car in Prince George's County, authorities said. Brandon Harris, of Oxon Hill, was walking in the far right lane when he was struck by a southbound vehicle on Indian Head Highway and Oxon Hill Road around 6:50 p.m. on Feb. 10, county police said. The driver remained on the scene and was not injured. Harris suffered critical injuries and died on Feb. 12, authorities said. Maryland Girl Faces Criminal Charges In Accidental Shooting Of Teenage Boy: Police A 15-year-old girl faces manslaughter charges after shooting a 16-year-old boy in Oxon Hill, in what police believe was an accident, according to officials.  The juvenile girl was handling a firearm at a home in the 4900 block of Glassmanor Drive when it discharged, striking the teenage boy at around 6:00 p.m. on Jan. 26, Prince George's County Police said.   He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. Detectives believe the shooting was an accident and are continuing their investigation.

Victim In Fatal Prince George's County Crash Identified: Police A Washington, DC man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash in Oxon Hill, according to police. On Jan. 23, at around 12:45 a.m., 35-year-old Cornelius Brown crashed his vehicle at Glen Rock Avenue and Brinkley Road.  He died at the scene, Prince George's County Police said.  Investigators believe Brown was driving eastbound on Brinkley Road, approaching Glen Rock Avenue, when his car left the roadway, mounted the guardrail and ultimately landed on its roof.
