Powerball Ticket Winner Sold In Paramus One of two winning third-tier Powerball tickets was sold in Paramus. The ticket from the Oct. 12 drawing is good for $50,000 and was sold at Paramus Food Center on Paramus Road. The winning numbers were 12, 29, 34, 53 and 65. The Red Power Ball number was 23. The Multiplier number was 02. The lucky winner will split the $100,000 jackpot with the other person, who purchased theirs in Kenilworth. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $100 million for the Oct. 16 drawing, held at 10:59 p.m.

Three minor injuries were reported after the 1984 fixed-wing, single-engine Mooney M20K made an emergency landing around 12:30 p.m. on the fairway of the 9th hole off Paramus Road. Drivers OK After Paramus Crash A Tuesday afternoon crash in Paramus heavily damaged both vehicles. The adult female driver of a silver SUV reported chest pains but refused medical attention after the crash at Linwood Avenue West and Paramus Road. The other driver was OK. Bicyclist Struck By SUV Seriously Injured In Paramus Bicyclist Struck By SUV Seriously Injured In Paramus
Bicyclist Struck By SUV Seriously Injured In Paramus An SUV struck and seriously injured a bicyclist who cracked the vehicle's windshield Thursday on Paramus Road in Paramus. He was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center after being struck just south of West Midland Avenue. The visibly distraught driver remained at the scene and was hospitalized, as well.  A flatbed tow truck lifted the SUV off the damaged bicycle and removed the vehicle from the scene.  Paramus police and EMS responded, along with an ambulance from HUMC and a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital.   Boyd A.
