A man wanted in two cities for burglary and other offenses was caught after a bicycle and foot chase in Prospect Park, police said.
On Monday, Aug. 25, Officer Maruri, who was on routine patrol, saw a man wearing a lime green shirt, shorts, and a white hat riding a bicycle on Eastmain Street, according to a statement from the Prospect Park Police Department.

A Wayne man was arrested after he threatened to kill an Outback Steakhouse manager with a knife, moments after harassing a teenage worker inside the restaurant, local police said.
Khalil W. Bakho, 60, was taken into custody Friday, June 27, around 8:35 p.m. in the parking lot of T-Bowl, Wayne Police said in a release issued Tuesday, July 1.
According to police, the trouble began inside the Outback Steakhouse when Bakho allegedly followed a juvenile female employee around with “a dollar bill in his mouth.” Several workers intervened, and a manager escorted Bakho out.

A 50-year-old man who had been wanted for a DNA sample was arrested after police said he was screaming profanities and making profane gestures at a popular brewery in Wayne earlier this month.
Unruly behavior exhibited by Anthony Walker, 50, of West Milford, brought Wayne police officers to Seven Tribesmen Brewery just before 8 p.m. Monday, July 1, Wayne Police Capt. Dan Daly said.
