Four men have been arrested in connection with running a crack cocaine distribution ring in Northern Westchester County. According to Audrey Strauss, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, the men, Jordan Campbell, Derrick Dickey, Terrance Patterson, and Johnnie Thomas, were arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 2. An investigation is underway after an 18-year-old was fatally stabbed during an incident in Northern Westchester. On Saturday, Nov. 28 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Peekskill Police officers responded to the New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital for a report of at least two males who arrived there with apparent stab wounds to the torso area. A 38-year-old man will spend the better part of a decade behind bars after admitting to raping a teenager in Northern Westchester. William Arias-Abril, of Peekskill, has been sentenced to six years in state prison in Westchester County Court after pleading guilty to two counts of third-degree rape. Police have found the person who defaced a single copy of The Northern Westchester Examiner newspaper with hate symbols, according to the Examiner News.
