Joe Fiordaliso, Former Livingston Mayor, Public Utilities President, Dies At 78
Joe Fiordaliso, the longtime president of the Board of Public Utilities and three-time mayor of Livingston, died at the age of 78, Gov. Phil Murphy announced on Thursday, Sept. 7.
No cause of death was provided. Fiordaliso was appointed to Murphy's cabinet in 2018, having previously served as a commissioner on the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities since 2005.

New Jersey is preparing to honor Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver, who died on Tuesday, August 1, at the age of 71.
Gov. Phil Murphy announced the official New Jersey State Funeral and Memorial Service for Oliver will take place at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark on Saturday, August 12. The public is invited to attend.
Prior to her funeral, Oliver will lie in state in the Rotunda of the State Capital on Thursday, August 10 and the Essex County Courthouse on Friday, August 11, accompanied by a full honor guard, Murphy said.

Two NJ Elected Officials Killed Week Apart
Just one week after the shooting death of a 30-year-old Sayreville councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour, another elected official died the same way.
Russell Heller, 51, a Republican councilman in Milford, was gunned down at work — a PSE&G parking lot — in Somerset on Wednesday, Feb. 8, authorities in Somerset County said.
The suspect, former PSE&G employee Gary T. Curtis, 58, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound just more than an hour later, authorities said.
An admired senior distribution supervisor, Heller had more than 11 years of service with PSE&G, the company said.

Murphy: Flags At Half-Mast As Tribute To Slain Central Jersey Councilwoman
Flags in New Jersey will fly at half-mast on Wednesday, Feb. 8 in memory of Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour, who was killed last week.
Gov. Phil Murphy signed the flag order on Monday, Feb. 6.
“It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Eunice Dwumfour,” Murphy said in a statement. “Her death is a tragic loss for her family, friends, the Sayreville community, and our state.
Dwumfour, 30, was found fatally shot outside her home on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

$50M Investment As Campbell's Relocates Jobs To South Jersey
Hundreds of new Campbell Soup Co jobs are expected to relocate to New Jersey with the consolidation of snack business offices in Connecticut and North Carolina, the food giant's officials announced.
Campbell's is moving an estimated 330 jobs to its Camden location, bringing the total jobs there to 1,600.
