This South Jersey District Struggles To Keep Public Schools Open
City of Camden officials say they can no longer afford to teach less than 6,350 students at 19 different schools, in a district that used to educate nearly double that. When the state took over the Camden school system in 2013 after years of poor student performance and low graduation rates, the district enrolled more than 11,000 students in more than two dozen buildings. A Philadelphia police detective has been temporarily reassigned based on a tip that she attended last week's raid on Capitol Hill, landing her at the center of an internal affairs investigation, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. More than 150 Pennsylvania businesses were warned this week that they will be facing more serious repercussions for defying COVID-19 restrictions. 19: Radio Reporter Says She Infected Others At 90th Birthday Party In Westchester
A New York City radio reporter who covered the initial novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Westchester infected several people at her mom’s 90th birthday party, some of whom later died, according to reports.
