Westchester Native Who Was Photographer, Former High School Athlete Dies At Age 27
A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, who worked as a freelance photographer and a carpenter, has died unexpectedly at age 27.
Putnam County resident Ryan Daly, of Mahopac, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, according to his obituary.
Daly was born in North Tarrytown, and he was a graduate of Mahopac High School with the class of 2012, his obituary said.
He went on to earn a bachelor's degree at Savannah College of Art and Design.
During his time at school, he also played football, basketball, and lacrosse, his obituary said.

Brothers Killed In CT Crash Remembered As Inseparable Friends
Two brothers who died last month in a Connecticut crash are being remembered by loved ones as inseparable friends.
The single-vehicle crash happened in New Haven County at about 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, on Hosley Avenue in Branford, police reported.
All three occupants of the vehicle died in the crash.
The driver was identified as 17-year-old Megan Nicole Povilaitis, of East Haven, and the two passengers were identified as Anthony Dudchik, age 19, of East Haddam, and Robert Dudchik, age 22, of East Haven.

Jersey Shore native and beloved photographer Walter Kelly McCaffrey, Jr. died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 5. He was 36.
Walter grew up in Barnegat and graduated from South Regional High School, his obituary and social media pages say.
