New Bear Sighting Reported, This One In Pawling
Well, folks, another black bear sighting has been reported in the area - this time in Pawling.
A Daily Voice reader sent in a photograph of a bear he saw in Brewster. This bear was spotted off Route 22 on Monday, March 25. Could it be the same bear since Route 22 goes through Pawling, which borders Putnam?
One thing is for sure, the bears are out and they are hungry.
Officials remind residents to take care and use locking garbage cans, and to remove bird feeders, apparently, it's like crack to bears.

An area photographer isn't giving up on his accusations that actor Liev Schreiber, of Showtime's "Ray Donovan" fame, injured him when he allegedly slammed into while the show was filming in Nyack.

Westchester's The Ground Glass Exhibits Art Photos at Pound Ridge Library
A picture is worth a thousand words. An exhibit, which opened at the Pound Ridge Library on May 10 and runs through June 23, 2018 certainly proves that.
Entitled “Personal Choice,” the exhibit features the works of 11 members of The Ground Glass, a Westchester-based association of fine art photographers. The exhibitors are residents of Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Armonk, White Plains, Greenburgh, Rye, Harrison, Tarrytown, Yorktown and Yonkers.
