Man Causes $1.5K In Damage To Vehicle In Road Rage Incident, State Police Say A 55-year-old man allegedly caused more than $1,500 in damage to a car during a road rage incident, state police said. New York State Police troopers in Dutchess County from the Rhinebeck barracks were dispatched to Church Street in Pine Plains on Oct. 24, where there was a report of criminal mischief incident. Troopers said that the victim told investigators that an unknown person punched his vehicle in a bout of road rage, causing the damage. Man Assaults Victim With Hammer In Domestic Dispute, Police Say A 34-year-old man was arrested after assaulting another person with a hammer during a domestic dispute, according to the New York State Police. James M. Macisaac of Pine Plains was arrested Sunday for the attack with took place on Friday, July 13, in Pine Plains, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Troopers were alerted to the attack when nurses at Northern Dutchess Hospital reported a possible victim of domestic violence, Hicks said. On Jan. 28, New York State Police from the Pine Plains barracks and the Rhinebeck Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Bryan C. McGarry of Clinton for two counts of rape in the second degree, a Class D felony.
