Two Busted With 148 Grams Of Crack Cocaine During Taconic Parkway Stop, State Police Say
New York State Police troopers on patrol on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County busted two with nearly 150 grams of crack cocaine, authorities announced.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26 for a vehicle and traffic violation on the parkway in Pleasant Valley, investigators announced on Monday, Jan. 31.

Nearly Two Dozen Charged With Impaired Driving During Dutchess Detail
Authorities in Dutchess County have just announced the results of a special multi-agency holiday DWI detail in Dutchess County.
Between Friday, July 2, and Monday, July 5, law enforcement agencies in Dutchess conducted impaired driving details that included saturation of patrols throughout the county in addition to their regular patrols, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, July 14.
In total, 21 motorists were busted for impaired driving.

Area Man Charged With Violating Protective Order, Burglary
A man was arrested by New York State Police for allegedly violating a protective order, burglary, and a host of other charges.
Dutchess County resident Russell J. Hines, age 45, of Pleasant Valley, was arrested on Tuesday, April 27, for the incident which took place on Wednesday, March 10, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
An investigation revealed that Hines on March 10, 2021, illegally entered the dwelling of the victim and initiated a physical domestic dispute, said Hicks.
