Delaware Man Who Died While In Custody Of Maryland State Police Identified
A Delaware man who died while in custody of the Maryland State Police has been identified, according to officials. Amar Womack, 64, died while in police custody in Centreville after he was arrested during a traffic stop for suspicion of possessing a controlled substance on Jan. 21, the Office of the Maryland Attorney General said. Womack was in a holding cell and began "exhibiting signs of distress and became unresponsive," two hours after he was placed there, according to police. GOT HIM! Harrisburg Police Nab Accused Shooter In Less Than 24 Hours
An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting in Harrisburg on Tuesday, according to area police. Gregory White, 35 of Harrisburg, is accused of shooting a man in the 1200 block of Kittatinny Street. Less than 24 hours after the shooting, he was taken into police custody. The victim remains in critical condition at a local hospital. White arraignment is pending as of Thursday morning.

NJ Attorney General Releases Video Of Incident Involving Deceased Atlantic County Jail Inmate
New Jersey's attorney general released surveillance video Friday of an incident involving a 41-year-old Atlantic County Jail inmate who later died after being taken to a local hospital. Hamilton Township police responding to a trespassing call arrested Mario Terruso, of Mays Landing, shortly after 1 p.m. Sept. 15, 2019, Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said. They processed Terruso and sent him to the county lockup after finding an outstanding warrant, Grewal said. Teen Boy In Custody After Stabbing 15-Year-Old Girl In Allentown Park
A teen boy is in custody after police say he stabbed a 15-year-old girl in an Allentown park Monday night, according to several news reports. Police quickly took the 14-year-old suspect into custody after he reportedly fled from the Bucky Boyle Park shortly after 8:10 p.m., LehighValleyLive reports. The 15-year-old girl suffered a “serious injury” and was in stable condition at an area hospital, Assistant Chief Bill Lake told the news outlet.

Police Nab 4 After Stolen Car Crashes At Route 4, 17 In Paramus
Police took four suspects into custody following a stolen car chase that ended in a crash at the Route 17 exit to Route 4 in Paramus before dawn Monday. Upper Saddle River police began chasing the vehicle stolen in their town around 2:45 a.m., then pulled back on Route 17, Detective Lt. Edward Kane said. A 35-year-old Clifton woman is facing several charges after carjacking two vehicles -- one a pick-up truck with its owner in the bed, the other a minivan that she crashed in Phillipsburg, authorities said. 5 Juveniles Injured, 3 In Custody After 10-Person Linden Brawl
Five juveniles were injured and three were taken into police custody after a brawl in Linden, authorities said. A fight involving 10 juveniles broke out near Ainsworth Street and West St. George Avenue shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, authorities said. Five juveniles were treated for minor injuries and released, police said. Three juveniles were taken into custody. This incident is under investigation. S. Plainfield Cancels Labor Day Parade, Explosive Devices Found Near Route
Officials in South Plainfield Monday have cancelled a Labor Day parade and other activities over what officials described only as a "security concern." Officials did not immediately provide any information about the nature of the threat. A large police presence was seen Monday in Spring Lake Park and the parade route was closed off, according to a published report. UPDATE: An autopsy found that a Paterson man died from a medical episode while in police custody that was triggered by bath salts that he'd ingested earlier combined with a previous condition, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M.
