Isaias Outage Update: These Putnam County Towns Are Most Affected Five Days After Storm
Nearly two thousand customers remain without power in Putnam County five days after Tropical Storm Isaias ripped through the region.
As of Sunday, Aug. 9 at around 10 a.m., 1,733 of its 38,693 customers in Putnam (4.5 percent) are still without power, according to NYSEG.
A day earlier at around the same 7,008 of its 38,693 customers in Putnam (18 percent).
Central Hudson is reporting outages of six of its 5,160 customers -- all in Philipstown.

Thousands remain without power in Putnam County four days after Tropical Storm Isaias ripped through the region.
As of Saturday, Aug. 8 at 10:20 a.m., 7,008 of its 38,693 customers in Putnam (18 percent) were still without power, NYSEG said. Central Hudson was also reporting 572 of its 5,160 customers (11 percent) were still in the dark.
The most outages in Putnam County are in Southeast (1,919), Carmel (1,486), Putnam Valley (1,223), Kent (1,205) and Patterson (1,102).

Thousands remain without power in Putnam County two days after Tropical Storm Isaias ripped through the region.
Utility crews have been working around the clock to make repairs after the storm sent trees flying into power lines and utility poles, causing mass outages throughout the Hudson Valley.
According to NYSEG, as of Thursday, Aug. 6, 24,961 of its 38,693 customers in Putnam were still without power. Central Hudson was also reporting 2,047 of its 5,160 customers were still in the dark.

Isaias New Update: These Putnam County Communities Most Affected By Power Outages
Thousands of Putnam County residents had power restored overnight, but nearly 40,000 remain in the dark a day after Tropical Storm Isaias ripped through the region, toppling trees and power lines.
NYSEG was reporting that 34,150 of its 38,693 customers were still without power, while 3,621 of Central Hudson’s 5,160 Putnam County customers were waiting to have power restored as of around 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
According to Central Hudson, full-service restoration is expected to be completed over several days, and potentially into the weekend.
