Masked Thieves Break Into Monsey Home, Steal BMW While Family Slept: Report
Two masked intruders slipped into a Rockland County home through an unlocked window and stole luxury items and a BMW while the family slept upstairs, according to reports.
The home invasion happened around 4:20 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, in the Viola section of Monsey, The Monsey Scoop reported.
According to the outlet, the thieves ransacked the home, taking expensive pocketbooks, a briefcase, religious items, and the family’s keys before driving off in one of the family’s cars, a BMW.

Several people were hurt and power outages were reported after a crash involving a bus and two cars brought down a utility pole in a Rockland County neighborhood.
The incident happened around 9:15 a.m. Friday, June 6, at the intersection of Hilltop Place and Highview Road in Monsey, according to The Monsey Scoop and Ramapo Police.
Emergency crews from Hatzoloh EMS, Spring Hill EMS, the Monsey Fire Department, and Ramapo Police responded to the scene.

Man Accused Of Exposing Himself To Women In Hudson Valley
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with allegedly exposing himself to women walking in a residential area.
The incident occurred in Rockland County on Monday, June 3, in Chestnut Ridge.
According to Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police, Orange County resident Joseph Perez, age 31, of Greenwood Lake, was exposing himself while in a vehicle in Chestnut Ridge.
An investigation was conducted by RPD Detectives, which resulted in the identification of the vehicle and the suspect, Franklin said.

Israeli Flag Defaced At Hudson Valley Service Center, Police Investigating
For the second time in two weeks, an Israeli flag has been the target of vandals at a Hudson Valley service station.
The incident occurred in Rockland County early Friday, May 24, at the Monsey Service Center on Main Street in Monsey.
According to Lauren Pepper, the manager of the center and daughter of the owner, Joe Kurek, another flag was stolen on Friday, May 17.
They quickly replaced the stolen flag with a new one that was defaced sometime in the overnight hours of Thursday, May 23, into Friday, May 24, said Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police.
