Rockland Teen Nabbed For Illegally Driving Dirt Bike After Fleeing From Police
A Rockland County teen was issued nine traffic tickets after he was nabbed driving an unregistered dirt bike. The 16-year-old Airmont teen was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 16, after a Ramapo Police officer spotted the dirt bike being driven on Route 202, said the Ramapo Police. An Orange County man was arrested for DWI/Drugs after being stopped by police for a headlight violation. The 30-year-old Warwick man was arrested around 10:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 14, after being stopped by a Ramapo Police officer for a headlight violation on Orange Turnpike in the Village of Sloatsburg. During the stop, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle as he approached to speak with the driver, police said. A 14-year-old boy from the Monsey area reportedly drowned in a private Jewish bathhouse. The boy slipped on the stairs while entering the mikvah, banged his head, and fell into the water in a New Hempstead home around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, vosizneias.com reports. A Rockland County resident was issued nine tickets and other moving violations for operating a dirt bike with no headlights. The 23-year-old Nanuet man was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 13, after Ramapo Police responded to Route 17 for an unregistered dirt bike driving with no lights, police said. After Rollover Rockland Crash
A man was arrested for DWI/Drugs after crashing his vehicle in Rockland County. The incident took place on Saturday, Dec. 12, on Summit Park Road when the unidentified man rolled his vehicle, Ramapo Police said. Man Drives SUV Into Back Of Trailer Parked On Rockland Roadway
A man drove into the back of a trailer that was parked in a Rockland roadway, damaging the vehicles, but with no injuries. The incident took place around noon on Tuesday, Dec. 8, when the Ramapo Police responded to a vehicle crash on Dolson Road. According to police, the driver of a silver SUV drove into the back of the trailer which was parked on the roadway. There were no injuries, and no summonses were issued as a result of this crash.
