Two Paterson residents have been arrested in connection with a shooting that left a 37-year-old man wounded last weekend, authorities said.
Hasan Whitaker, 39, was taken into custody on Aug. 26, and Dnashia Franco, 26, was arrested the following day, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office said Thursday, Aug. 28. Kenneth Crider, of Poolesville, pleaded guilty to a host of charges in connection with an incident in September 2024 outside a Tractor Supply in East Huntingdon Township.

A 19-year-old Pleasantville man was arrested and charged after he made threats while brandishing a firearm on Wednesday, Aug. 13, authorities said.
At 11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man, later identified as Javont Bell-Lowe making threats at the Dollar General at 600 South New Road, Pleasantville police said.
